Dear Prospective Vendor:
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Mid-Atlantic Reptile Show (MARS). MARS is sponsored by the MARS Preservation Fund, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our goals are: preserving biological diversity through the purchase and protection of habitat, promoting captive breeding of reptiles and amphibians and educating the general public.
Due to the overwhelming number of inquiries from prospective vendors, the show cannot accommodate everyone. Space and the number of tables per vendor is limited, therefore we have to screen prospective vendors.
MARS is an all captive bred reptile and amphibian show, with no wild caught or imported animals. No venomous animals are allowed. All of the products or services must be reptile and/or amphibian related. No scorpions will be offered for sale. All insects must be sold in quantity as food items. Most of the show rules were written by vendors, law enforcement agencies, the general public and the MARS staff.
Please send the following information about you and/or your company:
- Submit a resume. (How long have you been breeding? How long have you been in the reptile industry? Are you involved primarily in captive breeding?)
- Explain the animals, products and/or services you sell.
- If you are a breeder, feel free to send photographs of your breeding facility and your offspring hatching. All information is confidential. Photos will be returned upon request.
Send your information either via e-mail (holli@reptileinfo.com) or by snail mail to: MARS, P. O. Box 65012, Baltimore, Maryland 21209. Your information will be kept on file (and confidential) and reviewed each year. MARS is a unique reptile and amphibian show, not just a snake show. Everyone is treated equally; however, a variety of vendors are encouraged.
Thank you again for your interest in the Mid-Atlantic Reptile Show.
Sincerely,
Holli Friedland
Program Director
